Migration through Quebec investment

Quebec Immigrant Investor
The Quebec Immigrant Investor Program (QIIP) aims to have experienced business managers / directors / business owners to contribute to the long-term growth and prosperity of this province by investing money in the Quebec economy through designated financial intermediaries.
This program is a direct investment option but it is rather a very complex and selective program where thousands of people apply every year to immigrate to Canada under this program. The advantage of this program over other current Canadian immigration programs for business managers and owners is that there are no requirements for submitting French or English language test results.
Previously, there was another program for entrepreneurs to use to obtain permanent residency in Canada that was introduced by the Canadian Federal Government. This program allowed applicants to settle in any province except Quebec when approved, but the Federal Immigrant Investor Program (FIIP) closed on June 19, 2014.
The following are the current main requirements of the Quebec Immigrant Investor Program:
You, alone or with your accompanying spouse or legal partner, have legally acquired net assets of no less than CAD 2,000,000, excluding any amounts received by donation less than six months before your application was submitted.
You must have administrative experience of at least two years in the five years prior to submitting the selection application.
Make a five-year investment of CAD 1,200,000 with Investissement Québec - Immigrants Investisseurs Inc.
Interested investors can generally use the financing option only through financial intermediaries designated in Quebec. Please contact our experts for the terms and conditions of financing options. This program only accepts limited applicants based on an official quota announced by the Quebec Department of Immigration each year for a specified admission period.
