Express immigration or express entry program
Annually Canada accepts a large number of learners from all over the world as permanent residents.
The Express Immigration Program is an online immigration application management system established in January 2015. The system is designed to select the best skilled workers who wish to immigrate permanently to Canada.
Prospective candidates express their interest in immigrating to Canada by completing an online profile that is pre-assessed to see if they meet the criteria for one of the three immigration programs below:
1- Federal Skilled Worker Program
2- Federal Skilled Trade Program
3- The Canadian Experience Category and part of the Regional Nomination Program
Using the generated profile information, candidates are given scores (points) according to the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS), then they are placed in the Express Entry Group and are ranked relative to each other based on their score in the CRS, the draw is made approximately every two weeks, and only the candidate receives The highest score is a call to apply (ITA) for permanent residency.
The lowest acceptable score under the Federal Skilled Workers Program (CRS) Comprehensive Ranking System for a Call to Apply (ITA) was 413 points which were withdrawn on May 31, 2017 and was the lowest score to date for the Federal Skilled Trade Program 288 which was withdrawn. On May 30, 2019.
At the last draw at the time of publication of this article, June 25, 2018, candidates with 442 points were sent invitations to apply for ITA, if you are interested in immigrating to Canada through the Express Entry Program, contact us.
Result of the Express Entry program so far:
In 2016, out of 296,000 permanent residence applications in Canada, 36,919 visas were issued for entry candidates from the Express Entry Program group.
According to the 2017 year-end report of the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), in 2017, 86,022 invitations were sent, 109,497 applications received, and 93,596 visas were issued.
