Nova Scotia NSNP — Entrepreneurial Stream

Nova Scotia NSNP Entrepreneurial StreamNova Scotia is a province in eastern Canada, with Nova Scotia being Latin for "New Scotland". With a population of 923,598 as of 2016, it is the most populous of Canada's four Atlantic provinces.

The Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP) Entrepreneur Stream is for applicants who wants to start or own a business and settle permanently in Nova Scotia, applicants who are experienced in business management are eligible to submit their applications for this program.

First applicants have to receive their work permits then apply for The NSNP Entrepreneur Stream which is a temporary to permanent residence program then approved applicants are required to operate a business in the province of Nova Scotia on a valid work permit for a minimum of one continuous year prior to being nominated for permanent residence in Canada.

This program is based on Expression of Interest (EOI) system.

Requirements

  • Language ability: English or French knowledge
  • Education: minimum of a Canadian high school diploma
  • management experience: Have a minimum of three years of business ownership experience
  • Net worth: Have a minimum $600,000 CAD
  • Age: at least age of 21
  • Investment: minimum capital investment of $150,000 CAD
  • Having a business plan

Step 3: In-Person Interview and Business Performance Agreement

Step 4: Temporary Work Permit and Business Establishment in Nova Scotia

Step 5: Request for Nomination

Step 6: Apply for Permanent Residence(PR)
