The BC Immigration Program provides a way for eligible individuals and their families to immigrate to Canada and run their own businesses in the province of British Columbia. This program is part of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP).
If you are an experienced business leader with the knowledge and financial ability to build or grow an existing business in Canada and are looking to immigrate to British Columbia. And willing to invest and manage a company that is actively operating here, you may qualify for BC immigration programs.
There are two tracks for Entrepreneur Programs in the Province of British Columbia:
1- The base category for immigration of businessmen to BC.
To qualify for this category, you must:
A- You have assets of $ 600,000
B- During the past ten years, you have more than 3 years of experience as an employer - manager, or more than four years of experience as a first-rate manager, or a combination of one year of experience as a business manager and more than two years of experience as a first-rate manager.
C- You have obtained an accredited post-secondary certificate, or, experience as an effective business owner manager for at least three of the past five years with 100% ownership of this business
D- You must submit a proposal to establish a new business or purchase an existing business in British Columbia
E- You must invest a minimum of $ 200,000 dollars
F- At least one full-time job must be created for a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada
G- You must reside anywhere in British Columbia
H- Fluency in English or French with a minimum equivalent to CLB 4
I- You can partner with a local company / person
J- BC PNP has no age requirements or age limits. However, points will be allocated for your age in the online BCPNP registration.
2- The experimental regional category for business migration to BC.
To qualify for this category, you must:
A- You have assets of $ 300,000
B- During the past five years, you have more than 3 years of experience as an employer - manager, or more than four years of experience as a first-rate manager, or a combination of one year of experience as a business manager and more than two years of experience as a first-rate manager.
C- You have obtained an accredited post-secondary certificate, or, experience as an effective business owner manager for at least three of the past five years with 100% ownership of this business
D- You must submit a proposal to establish a new business or purchase an existing business in British Columbia
E- You must invest a minimum of $ 100,000
F- At least one full-time job must be created for a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada
G- You must only reside within the participating communities in the province of British Columbia
H- Fluency in English or French with a minimum equivalent to CLB 4
I- You can partner with a local company / person
J- BC PNP has no age requirements or age limits. However, points will be allocated for your age in the online BCPNP registration.
