The New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP) is an immigration program that allows the New Brunswick government to nominate individuals with managerial skills and / or business owners to become a New Brunswick Economist.
The New Brunswick Entrepreneurship Program is an economic immigration program for experienced entrepreneurs willing to establish, operate and run a business effectively while living and settling in New Brunswick permanently.
NBPNP requires two stages of approval before permanent residency is granted.
Stage 1: Apply to NBPNP for a Certificate of Nomination If you meet all the eligibility criteria and selection factors, you can apply to NBPNP by registering online and submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI). If you are sent an Invitation to Apply (ITA), you can submit the complete transaction online. The time taken for each transaction varies depending on the time required to verify the documents included in your application and on the volume of applications received. In some cases, you may be required to attend an interview in person.
If you are nominated by the New Brunswick PNP, you can apply to the Government of Canada for a permanent residence visa through the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). You, your spouse, and their dependents must fulfill the legal requirements for medical, security and criminal admission.
Requirements:
A minimum investment of $ 250,000 in your future business in NB
A minimum net worth of $ 600,000 and a minimum of $ 300,000 in cash in your bank account
Minimum two years after secondary education
Knowledge of a minimum of CLB 5 English or French in middle school
Two full-time jobs must be created for Canadians (except for himself and his wife)
Exploratory visits are not mandatory but prioritize the selection of the candidate by the NBPNP, and this must be done before applying to the EOI.
After approval, the applicant must deposit $ 100,000 with NBPNP (within 60 days) then the applicant will receive a Candidate Certificate.
Economic benefit
When reviewing applications, priority will be given to business plans that have the potential to achieve significant economic benefit through:
An increase in manufacturing or processing that will add value to New Brunswick's exports;
Enhancing research and development, developing new products and / or services.
Developing innovative approaches to traditional business;
Developing and / or improving new technologies;
Transfer of technology and specialized knowledge to New Brunswick;
Providing products and / or services to a local or regional market that is not sufficiently served
The advantage of this program is that applicants do not need to work under a work permit before they are granted permanent residency. Therefore, the treatment grants permanent residence directly.
