Canada is looking for skilled business owners with recent business experience and are looking to invest in Canada. Canada offers many benefits to foreign business families seeking to settle in a new home.
The Entrepreneur Program seeks to attract experienced business owners who are also interested in owning and managing their own business effectively when they come to Canada.

The project owner must:
• Show that he has commercial experience of at least two years;
• Possess a minimum net worth of CAD 300,000 legally obtained.
• Obtaining at least 35 points in the points-based assessment.
• Respecting the conditions placed on them as entrepreneurs once they arrive in Canada.

Once approved, successful applicants to the Federal Entrepreneur Program will be granted conditional permanent residence in Canada. Entrepreneurs must commit to managing and owning a qualified Canadian company for at least one year after obtaining conditional residency, within three years of arrival in Canada, and the business must have created the equivalent of at least one full-time job for a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
Applicants in this category are not required to do the same business as theirs in their home country, and a new business line or partnership with any existing and eligible business in Canada can be purchased.
Upon successful completion of the required conditions, businessmen can apply to remove all conditions and grant permanent residency.
